I tutored children online in the past through Brainfuse Inc. I worked with the children through a virtual blackboard in Reading and Math with grades K-11. i have have tutored seven year old twin girls in Reading, Phonics and Math to better prepare them for 2nd grade. I prepared lessons, consisting of Learning Activities and Educational Games. We used worksheets, games like Yahtzee and Boggle and Read-Alouds in my curriculum. I have only worked with two educational institutions. The first was with Warrendale Charter Academy from 8/2001 to 8/2005. I began there as a 5th grade teacher for a self-contained class. Then I moved to 6th grade, as a self contained teacher. Later I became a 7th grade English Language Arts teacher and then an 8th grade Language Arts Teacher. I moved every year because I wanted to loop with my students.
The second school is with the Y.M.C.A. Service Learning Academy. I am still here. I am an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher. Teaching here have been a wonderful experience.
